Children thrive outside developing skills they cannot achieve inside. We have developed our garden areas to encourage children's interests and curiosity.

We are constantly developing new ideas adding new equipment and developing natural areas to encourage investigation.

The pirate ship built in 2019 has proved a favourite with the children mopping the decks, roleplaying and imagining they are pirates on the open sea.

The mud kitchen encourages the children to enjoy messy play adding leaves.

The secret gardens enables the children to spend quiet time enjoying a book, a chat or looking at bugs.

We have a range of fruit trees and bushes and grow our own organic vegetables in pots and troughs around the garden, caring for the plants and harvesting teaches the children about growth.

The smaller garden is accessible from the main nursery room and has a climbing wall, balance poles, water trough and water wall, bug hotel, loose parts play and playhouse.

A covered area houses sensory resources, musical instruments.
